We bought the Target Circo train set for our son for Christmas 2008 and at the time he was 2 years old and 4 months (28 months).  We had visited a toy shop while we were on vacation, and our son had seen another train set and wanted to stay and play with the train set all day.  I researched train sets...

You get what you pay for - and the Circo train set is cheap.

We bought this train set for our son, who is almost 3 years old. I assembled it yesterday... and I am not impressed. After just a couple of minutes of play, one of the metal magnet pieces that are used to connect the trains fell off - posing a choking hazard not just for him, but for our 7 month old...
