Target Cherokee Brand T-Shirts —

Years ago, a friend showed me her new $50 T-shirt and raved because "it fits".
As a bargain shopper, I was flabbergasted by the price.  Even greater was my astonishment at the notion of a T-shirt actually fitting.  (Please don't weep, clotheshounds, this is just naive old Tuneful.)
Flash forward to 2007 and Cherokee T-shirts at Target.  What a terrific personal discovery!  The basic Cherokee Tee covers a multitude of sins below the waist without being baggy.  It fits in the shoulders and closes the gap between my slender neck and the (now stamped) label on the back.  Most Cherokee T-shirts are substantial enough to make my bra-less-ness a non-issue, though the tissue tees say "Tuneful, buy a bra and get a lift."  (Alas, gravity eventually takes down the small-busted, too.)
So, if you are among the thin-necked, bra-less, longwaisted, and bargain-motivated who love rainbows of seasonal color and a variety of necklines, Cherokee Tees may be your baby.
Other Target brands don't offer me the advantages listed above.  "It's in the cut," my mom, an expert seamstress, used to say.  "It's in the last," we'd croon about perfect shoes that actually fit Tender Flower, triple-A feet.  And, isn't it super that, if we look long enough, most of us can find something that provides a flattering and comfortable fit?
Do Cherokee Tees provide satisfaction for folks with other body types?  Let me know!

You obviously have MY sleeves. (I always tell students that my long arms were made for piano teaching.) Oh! And if you ever find the flat person's flattering bra, let me know. I keep hoping, but if the cup fits me, the back doesn't even come close to fastening. (My first bra was a 28AAA. Do you think they still make them in that size?)

I've come to the basic assumption that t-shirts aren't meant to be flattering but rather comfortable. I don't understand why a small is large enough for me to wear as a nightshirt or why the sleeves drape down my arms like curtains. And can a bra really flatter a flat person, hmm...Inquiring minds wanna know ;+) Loved the review--keep 'em coming!

I have long arms too. I never can find sleeves long enough and I hate it. A good fit really is tough to find!

If it fits me, it sure makes sense that it won't fit someone else. Finding something that fits is pure luck. I've got long arms, so I find things on sale racks that obviously would cover most people's hands. It's so goofy out there. Thanks for reassuring me that my tees will last. Good ol' Target...

They don't fit short waisted, slightly larger busted, big shouldered skinny girls but then again, there are probably only 5 of us in the world. lol. They're too long for me and a tad tight across the bust but I still have a few in larger sizes for around the house. They LAST!

They sure do although I take care to buy them a little big. What I really get a lot of use out of is the beautiful Cherokee sweatshirts I have bought at Target's over the years. Good thing you like your tees because here's another advantage to Cherokee clothes -- they LAST and LAST and ......
