If you want a hot bed, don't go to Tan USA.

I'm a seasonal tanner and when I first started tanning at Tan USA about 3 years ago the beds were always hot and the staff was always friendly. Unfortunately I assumed that it was the same when I came back this year to buy another month package to begin tanning again. So far this year I have yet to get in a bed that is hot or that has evenly tanned me, including their stand-up. While I have nothing against teenagers, and I understand that not all teens are rude and lazy (I work with a few that are not) this crew that works at Tan USA have got to be the worst. They know nothing of the products that they are selling, though this could be from lack of training. However, they do need to know that the customer comes first. Countless times I have gone in to tan and have had to wait for them to either finish their cell phone conversation or finish up their conversation with their friend that is sitting in the lobby to keep them company while they're working.

$70 a month is way to much money for poor customer service and poor quality tanning. As soon as my month is up I'm moving onto another tanning salon and I'll be sure to take my friends and family with me.

Francis Glider, unfortunately you don't know what your employees are doing while you are not there. I was looking for a tanning salon to start tanning at, so I've done my reviews, called and went to several salons. Unfortunately, the salons in Clermont have teens working who are fairly rude and make you feel as if you are bothering them. It's unfortunate that TAN USA has some of the worst, she was on her cell when I walked in and took 2 min to get off of it. For $70 a month, I, for one, expect a lot better customer service. Make some surprise calls or just show up. I'm 40, a new resident of Clermont, employed and was hoping to find a good salon. I chose another due to pricing, beds, and customer service. Good luck and please, check on your employees.

I understand what your saying, I've been tanning with them for a while and the staff is friendly but alwasy busy on their cell phones or outside smoking. I like their stand up but they don't train you on anything!

As the owner of TAN USA Clermont I am staggered by this so called review!! Firstly TAN USA Clermont has not been open for three years as stated. It didn't open until August 2006. ALL the bulbs in ALL the beds were changed this year and our customers have in fact had to cut their times because the beds were so HOT.
The price stated is for one month unlimited on our level three beds. These beds are the hottest we have and are the ones our regular clients keep coming back to.
As for my staff, I am confident the staff I have at present will always put the customer first. Any wait a customer does have is because our most popular beds are busy...not the sign of a poor quality tanning experience!
