When I saw the preview for Taken I figured I knew what it would be about.  The preview shows a girl getting kidnapped from under a bed as she tells her dad what's going on.  In the preview, the dad makes comments that they don't know who they are messing with - inferring that he is a highly skilled detective of some sort.  I figured the girl was Taken as a way to get to the dad.

Well it turns out, previews don't tell you everything... and neither will I!  Taken is nothing like I thought it was, which made it scarier than I thought it would be.  The reason she was Taken was just unbelievable...

 Finally!  A movie that doesn't drag on!  This movie held our attention from start to finish.  Great action.  It did remind me a little of The Bourne Ultimatum at times with shaky camera during fighting scenes... but overall great movie!

Nice to see Liam Neeson back... and so agile at almost 60!  The writers did a nice job with the script.

I just finished watching this movie and it kept my attention the entire time. I am into movies that have suspense and intrigue and good plots.  This one had all of those.  I am not one to give away any details of the movie except for what you can see in the movie trailer.  A father goes on a journey to get his daughter back after she is taken while traveling to another country.  Liam Neeson is a good actor in this movie and the situation is a scary one for people to fear while traveling.  Lets be honest, movies have more suspense when you know that the situation could be real.

Taken (2009) Movie is action packed. Bryan Mills (Liam Neeson) is a father/former government operative who has to get his daughter back who has been taken by people who are selling young girls for lots of money.

 Bryan didn't want his daughter to go to Paris, but he gave in and signed the papers so she could go anyway. It was a huge mistake! No matter what happens Bryan will do whatever it takes to get his daughter back, and he does!

 This movie has  gun shooting, killing, fast car chases,and of course, Liam Neeson! That sums it up, it's a great movie and worth the time to go and see it! Bryan...

TAKEN with Liam Neeson was Awesome. I do not usually go to these types of movies but my two grown boys talked me into it and I loved it. I could not take my eyes off the movie the whole time. My boys would make comments during the movie but I would not pay attention. I just kept watching it. I was literally on the edge of my seat waiting to see what would happen next.
I could not believe that this type of action movie could keep my attention because most of them do not. It did not have a lot of scenes that were not needed, the plot moved along at a good pace and kept your attention.

"Taken" is a definite must see movie.

Liam Neeson's acting is perfect as he brings you into his world and you journey with him to find his daughter who along with a friend was kidnapped and sold to slave traders while traveling abroad. I don't like to give to much information because it ruins the movie for me. The trailers they have online sums up the show but what I can add is this move had me to a level where I had to tell myself to breathe. Every woman planning to travel should see this movie! I am reveiwing the movie Taken. It was about an agent that was no longer involved in security.  He is divorced and has a teenage daughter.  The ex-wife is actually married to a wealthy man.  Liam Neeson is the agent who's daughter gets taken while she is in Europe.  Originally the daughter lies to her dad but in the end she needs his help.  I was thinking of my own daughter and what would I have done in the position.  I think you should see it to see what the end is.  It was a great movie and I would see it again.

the movie taken is a movie you have to see.It is something that could happen to someone you know and these things do happen every day.as a father +this is what i would do to save my daughters if this happened to them.I waited for the girl to go for her singing dream but was dissapointed that she did not go for it right away.I cant tell you much more without giving away whet happens in the movie, but I do suggest that you see iti soon.well worth th price to buy or rent and then you will tell your friends to watch it too.
