Cheap food and great public transportation

Taipei is one of the most thriving cities in Asia, and it is a great place to visit that is budget-friendly and can give you a taste of Asia without the culture shock. The extensive public transporation system gets you anywhere you possibly need to go, and it even features the locations in English under the Chinese letters. Taiwan has the most imteresting and beautiful sights.

I traveled to Taipei with my husband but he had to work. I journeyed throughout the city on my own not knowing a like of Chinese. The train systems were very clean and the directions were very simple to follow. (I only got lost once!)

If you go the temples are a must see and don't miss the changing of he guards at the Marter's Shrine. They change every hour and I can't diescribe the precision and honor with which the men carry out their duties.

I wish I had more time, there is so much to see.
