Do you remember back in the 90s when Tae Bo was wildly popular, and then not so much? Well, this Tae Bo DVD will remind you of why it was such a great exercise regimen. I confess to sitting and watching it for its entertainment value, but I've actually worked out to it, also.
This DVD is for the "goldies" (think: Golden Girls). It has a decidely slower pace, and is not as heart-thumbing as Billy Blanks' Boot Camp videos. It's a great place to start, no matter your age, especially if you haven't worked out before, and need an introduction to Tae Bo. This is a nice overview.
One of the biggest drawbacks is the poor sound quality. In some places, it's difficult to hear Billy Blanks over the sound of the music. Don't you hate that? I do. Loud oldies-but-goodies music isn't my idea of a good time, but it definitely gets you pumped.
If you're very agile and ready for tough Tae Bo action, pass on this tape. But if you're looking for a relatively slow primer, get this one definitely!
