I'm not sure why, but we seem to have a Bermuda Triangle of toenail clippers in this house. Every time you put a pair away, the next time you go to get them, they're not there. If you have something annoying going on with your foot that needs that trim, it can be a little annoying to have to go on a search to find them. When I went out to buy a new pair, I was met with an interesting choice, the same old stainless steel pair, or a pair with a rubberized grip on it, TRIM Easy Hold Toenail Clippers. I decided to go for it and get the pair that was easier to hold.
The rubberized grip may be easier to hold, but what I found out was that it was harder to see. I never realized how much I depended on seeing what I was trimming. I lined up the toe nail trimmers like I always do, and ended up cutting down far too low and being at a terrible angle instead of being straight. I had another go at it, and it was just as bad. It was just too hard to do without seeing what I was doing. When I went for my pedicure, the technician asked if I'd been using garden shears on my toe nails. Of course, I kept trying to use them, thinking it would get easier and better, but it never did.
Also, of course, this pair doesn't get lost. All the regular pairs of toe nail clippers that I can see what I'm cutting off disappear, but this pair that mangles up my feet so bad, never goes anywhere. They are very comfortable and ergonomical, I'll give them that, but it's not very comfortable once I cut too far down and almost make my toe bleed. I'll have long toe nails before I ever use those TRIM EAsy Hold Toenail Clippers again.
