Takes too long to transfer assets from another brokerage.

I joined up on march 23rd. I faxed all the documents they needed to transfer my assets from another brokerage. (electronic transfer n/a in my case, it had to be done by mail). So 9 DAYS LATER on March 31st they finally mailed my documents out. Now instead of using overnight delivery, they used the cheapest shipping method and it took another 9 DAYS for my documents to arrive at my old brokerage. This could have been done in 2-3 days, but so far it has taken 18. I'm still waiting to start trading!
