The Targus 4-Port USB HUB is a nice little product.  First the pros:  This device works with Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 2000.  It also works with Mac OS X v10.2 or later.  So it is versatile. It is computer powered so no additional AC adapter is needed.  It is small so it can be carried anywhere.  The cord is covered in a thick plastic covering so the cord is well protected.  It works great and it doesn't take up alot of space.  Now the cons:  The cord is really short.  So while you can technically use this for a PC, it is just going to hang there.  Not long enough it sit on top of the computer or to sit on the desk.  Perfect for a laptop though.  Another thing I don't like about it is that it is so slim that it doesn't look like there is that much plastic to protect the insides.  Doesn't look durable, so while it is small enough to take everywhere, you might want to be careful with it.  In short, it is a good product, but there are better.

I have several different devices attached to my Laptop, Speakers, Wireless Keyboard, USB Flash Drives, etc.  Rather than constantly having to pull one out and reattach when I need it I can keep them all attached and available w/ 2 Targus 4 port hubs.  These are small enough to fit in you Laptop case and make everything more convenient.
