This restaurant is right out of the pop history books! It's shiny silver and turquois on the outside. Inside, there are booths, a bakery counter, and then an 'add-on' dining room with tables. Waitresses are basic human beings who are friendly, knowledgeable, and absolutely know they work in a diner! They'll comment on anything, call you 'sweetie'; the only thing they don't do is yell back to the cooks in some weird lingo.
The menu includes HUGE portions of Italian, Greek, pasta, fish, sandwich, salad, good grief! The board at the entrance lists the specials - the waitresses won't know them, so read before you walk by.
Sadly, we were there one night (out of about 10 so far) when the older male at the cash register tried to give us change for a $10 when we'd given him a $20, and we had to get rude with the woman behind the bakery counter to buy our take-home desserts - she was too busy playing with someone's baby to notice us.
