Completely Annoying Instructor

I picked this workout at my local library since I'd heard good things about it. All I can say is thank goodness I didn't have to pay for it! It was so bad it was actually funny! First, the instructor and creator, Teresa Tapp, looks great, but she has to be THE worst instructor I have ever seen in a workout video. And I have done many, many workout videos over the years! She has this incredibly annoying, breathy/panting voice and she just WILL NOT STOP TALKING. She just does not shut up the entire time. I actually had to put her on mute because she was just so incredibly annoying. This does appear to be a good workout for those of us with small spaces since it only requires about three square feet to workout in. There's no dancing or choreography since it's not really a cardio workout. It's more of a toning and strengthening workout. I just really cannot recommend this. I tried it once but promptly returned it to the library the very next day. Perhaps if you can workout with the disc on mute it may be worthwhile, but I was not impressed.

One of the most amazing programs out there!

I saw T-Tapp in a magazine many many years ago, and just thought, "Hmm, that's sort of strange". Later I saw it again online and decided to look into it further. On the website, they have a Try Before You Buy section, which is what I used for about a week to get a little feel for the exercises and to see if it's something I'd want to invest in, as the workouts are fairly expensive as far as workout DVDs go. But I did buy it, and I'm so glad I did. This program is so unique. It looks really easy, but it is NOT easy. You never have to do more than 8 reps, and you never increase weights (actually you don't even use weights, just your own body weight). You increase your ability to do the moves as you do it, so you never outgrow it or need to go up to a harder workout. And I've seen results with this program, which is probably the most important thing to you if you're considering this DVD. It does work. And it's good to know you don't always have to jump around, pound your joints, or tear your muscles to get strong and fit!

Great workout for just about anyone.

Theresa Tapp has a great program for health and fitness in her "T-Tapp Total Workout" dvd.  I have used a variety of workout videos, but this one surpasses them all in total body workover in the least amount of time.  Theresa has been an advocate for a healthier exercise program for many years, and her workout emphasizes a wellness approach.  In fact, her program is called "The Wellness Workout that Works".  I can vouch for both the effectiveness and efficiency of this program.  You can indeed get more done in less time with less stress on your body. The Total Workout begins with a 15 minute workout that gets you warmed up and ready to go.  You could also make a short workout just from the 15 minute beginning workout.  The big difference in this workout is that you work more muscles with one move, hence you get a better workout in a shorter amount of time. The second part of the workout is very intensive on the "more muscles in fewer moves" philosophy. None of the moves would be considered high impact aerobics, but I have felt like I have had just as big a workout from T-Tapp as the other high impact, long length video workouts that I have done in the past. More done in less time, with great results....I like that.
