The general setup of the phone is good. Not quite sure which genius thought it would be a good idea to put the power button where your hand sets to hold the phone. The buttons are small (so ladies if you have long nails be prepared for some discomfort in your nail) Emails has always taken a minimum of... read full review »

The sidekick phone is a great phone if you access your email regularly and need internet access at your fingertips. It has a Qwerty keyboard, which is great if you suffer from the texting dilemas on a regular phone.

This phone is not very fun if you don't purchase the internet package from t-mobile. My husband bought this phone for me without the service, and I am not able to download ringtones or buy extra things for my phone.

This phone is quite expensive even if you subscribe to T-mobile service.

I made the mistake of adding a line to my tmobile account and chose the sidekick for the "free" phone.  This thing is terrible!  It is bulky, heavy, and hard to carry around.  I had the phone for four months and the screen broke.  it is now useless and tmobile wants $90 to fix it and that is with the insurance plan!  Once the screen is broken, you can't read anything on the face at all.  Stay away from the sidekick!

I think its designing concept is very very fashionable. It can be folded as you want.

Furthermore, its touching feels so so good. Furthermore, I have been using it for about 3 months, it has provided exactly what I want when it comes to communication quality.

The Motorola Sidekick Slide is the worst cell phone I've ever had! I have had nothing but problems with it since the first couple of months after purchasing. It drops calls. It is constantly searching for a signal therefore I'm often without service. Whenever the phone is turned off then turned back on, old deleted text messages are back. I know it is the phone and not our service because another family member on the same plan has a different phone and does not experience any of the problems I do.
I tried to replacing the phone under the manufacturers warranty. I was told I would have to return...

I got this phone tragically when i broke my sidekick 3. I got conned by the sales man to get this phone describing it as a mini "sidekick 3". So happily i gotten it. Not knowing that I could get a practically new one on ebay for just little of nothing. I am looking for certain apps that the id didnt have that the 3 did. Also the internet was very slow and horrible. Comparing to the same internet that the 3 used and it was way more faster than that. Now usually i am a big fan of sidekicks, but this one really turned me off from them. Then there was the dropped calls, and all of the freezing...

Sidekick ID.  My husbands roller ball stopped connecting within the first 6 months.  The internet connection took forever and it once took 3 days for a text msg he sent me to hit my phone.  When it did come in it was at 4 in the morning.  The key board only works if you don't have any fingernails.  It took 3 months to get the internet option disconnected on both phones and he has gone back to his old flip phone, the one this was was supposed to replace.  Customer service at TMobile has declined since we joined years ago and emails are rarely answered. I've been thinking about the G1 for my... read full review »

I have a sidekick id, and I like it. It does everything that I need for it to do. The only problem I have with it is that it doesn't have a camera, but you can download your pics to it. The texting is my favorite part because it's super easy and quit. Also unlike the other sidekicks the sidekick id has bumpers that you can get in different colors to accessorize with.

The sidekick is a wonderful little invention.  It has all the capabilities anyone would want in a phone, texting, internet, phone use.  What else would a person need.  The only downfall on the product for me, is that I enjoy small electronics, it is a rather large phone, but it has so many wonderful features, that I am willing to deal with that one flaw.

I absolutely love this phone. It doesn't have the camera on it but it is great for texting and to play games on it. It also has aim, yahoo, and myspace on it. You can also change the skin on it. The only con is that it is bigger than most phones and kind of hard to just shove in your pocket.

I guess it would've been cool to have a sidekick that doesn't flip up, but on the other hand... THE GENIUS WHO THOUGHT OF THE SLIDE-Y PART FOCUSED TO MUCH ON THAT AND NOT ENOUGH ON THE TECHNICAL STUFF! That phone has more problems than idk what! Do I recommend it? NO!
