I admit, I don't normally rush out and buy new technology on the first day - it is always full of bugs, and the price always drops dramatically three weeks later. But I ignored all of that and went to the T-Mobile store the day the G1 came out. The difference in my experience at T-Mobile versus what I had heard about that other phone were immense. A coworker told us he stood in line for three hours nearly a week after that other phone had come out. I walked in the day the phone came out, and 20 minutes later, was already syncing up my emails and using the GPS to track our route in the car. Since...

I usually don't care about having an up to date cell phone, but when I heard this one came with google applications I had to have it. I use google for everything, pictures, emails, chat, calender and more. It is a great phone that takes all the fun from your computer and lets you use it on your phone.

This is the best phone ever. Tmobiles service is not that great but the phone makes up for it. The touch screen is really nice and the keypad makes for easy texting. Everyone should have a phone like this!!!!

The T-Mobile G1 is a strong phone especially for those with a higer than avergae knowledge of technology and those who want a great deal of flexibility and customization options.

Before purchasing my G1 I had considered several other trouch screen smart phones including the Iphone.  In the end I settled with the G1 for its functionality and the possibility for customization and expansion.  The phone runs on the Android operating system written by Google which is very strong.  It runs smoothly and efficiently.  The operating system includes the ability for the user to customize practically everything. ...

Finally the phone that one can easily fall in love. I will try to be precise even though there is much to tell.

Peformance: Everytime I touch this phone I learn more of its capabilies.

-If you love texting, this is a diamond. The keyboard buttons are well made with many shortcuts and charcters. But what I love the most is how it arranges your messages into a conversation like manner. In one display you can see all their messages and your responses, just like IM only better because you don't have to look for it in history.

- GPS: This is the real gold. You can get your location, get direction according...

On September 23, the world was  to the HTC Dream, now known as the T-Mobile G1, and the initial reaction ranged from "That's it?" to "I have to have it!" Unfortunately, we fell more into the "That's it?" camp. From the outset, the G1 offered more functionality than  and even the current  (before iPhone OS 3.0), including copy and paste, multimedia messaging, a better camera, and Google Street View. It also delivers good call quality and snappy performance. T-Mobile's recent roll out of the Android 1.5 Cupcake update also fixes the issue of previously missing features, including video recording,...

I opted on the G1 phone when I had the chance to open a new contract with TMobile.  Everyone raved about their Iphones but I just found not having a keyboard would severely limit my ability to do anything besides make phone calls, so I went with this G1 phone.

The phone comes ready to go, you just charge it and its ready.  There are the standard features, full keyboard if you slide up the screen, and also a touch screen.  This phone does come with a camera, but it's not the best. The features are fairly simple to operate, and you have access to email, instant messaging, web browser, and maps...

I've never had a great, cool phone before and I happened into this one through T-Mobile.  First, it wasn't terribly expensive and I had heard some very good things about it from reviews.  T-Mobile's everything package (unlimited texting and unlimited 3G Data package) is affordable, much more affordable than the iPhone and ATT'S package.  T-Mobile even offered to spread the phone's payments out over 4 months, so that added around 40 a month for 4 months to my bill, of which I had a month to pay anyways...no interest was added for this convenience.  Secondly, The phone is somewhat future proof:...

The T-Mobile G1 is a great phone, but that's not all that it is.  It's also a digital music player, a mobile internet device, an email reader, a camera, a camcorder, a video game console, and more.  There is also a built-in marketplace where you can go to download new applications to truly personalize and enhance your phone.  There are thousands of applications.  Most apps cost a small fee (starting at $0.99 for many) but there are tons of free apps as well.

A few apps I would recommend are:

  • Astrid : A great task manager
  • Abduction : A great game that you play by tilting the phone back and...

I bought my G1 phone back in January of this year.  I absolutely love it and do not know how I functioned without it.  My boyfriend recently purchased the updated version of it, and I am glad that I got the G1.  It is simple to use, and even I can understand all of its basic functions without pulling out  my hair trying to make a simple phone call.  It gives you online tutorials to help with the things you may not be able to figure out on your own.  And I love the way the screen flips to the side to reveal a full function keyboard.  On my boyfriend's phone, there is no keyboard and trying...

For awhile now, I was trying to figure out why T-Mobile had yet to jump onto the touch screen cell phone bandwagon, but my gut instint told me to just wait it out. Then in August 2008, I learned T-Mobile was releasing the G1 Android phone.

Anyhow, I pre-ordered my phone and received it 10/21/2008. The G1 Google phone was everything I would hope it would be. It had the functionality of a smart phone, the ease of use and full-qwerty board like the Sidekick and best of all, it was a touch screen. My favorite thing about the phone is the Android Market. The G1 is on an open platform and any developer...

Tmobile g1 is the next best thing since labtops. You can do just about everything from the palm of your hand with this phone that you can do on a computer plus more. The g1 has the best applications ever, and the best part is, most of them are free. The pictures and video's are great with the small exception of no flash light. It has a full keyboard. It also have a touchscreen with a keyboard on it. The g1 has lots of memory space. The GPS is alsome, helped me alot of times. The screen flip flop with the turn of the phone. The phone alerts you of all the new updates to whatever application...

The G1 google phone is a wonderful phone to own. It has many features that make your life fun and easy. It is lightweight and has a long battery life.  It has a touchscreen pad or you can slide the phone open and use a keyboard.  It stores lots of mp3's and comes with headphones so you can enjoy music anytime...anywhere.  The G1 has a speakerphone which makes it easy for handsfree moments...like when you're driving!  It also has a wonderful application that allows you to download fun and exciting gadgets and games that you can enjoy on your phone..especially those moments when sitting in a...
