T-Mobile - G-1 Cell Phone

I was so, so, so excited to get the Google phone! I am an BIG Google application user so this phone had ALL of my daily used items already on it! (calendar, chat, contacts, email, maps, etc.) So many cool features like "street view" on the maps feature. You will have a lot of trouble putting this phone down.  There are more and more applications being released by the day. Can't wait to see what Google does next.

T-Mobile G1 (also known as HTC Dream) I can't express enough about how I love this phone for the sheer hackability. The free applications market is over flowing with just about any kind of software that you can think of. I use my phone daily in my job and my personal life. I love being able to view multiple calendars at once on my phone. I don't need a cradle to 'sync' my phone when I update a contact. I either do it on my google account or in the phone and the opposite one is automatically updated. The same for calendaring. The phone is robust and easy to handle. I do find the battery... review »

I would recommend this phone to almost everyone I know. Very easy to learn and adapt to. Touchscreen and QWERTY keyboard make messaging a breeze. Also comes with gps, calender, e-mail, and camera to name a few things. Also available are applications (some free, some not), which make it very easy to personalize your phone. Everything from games, to applications to help organize your life. Everything you need is literally in the palm of your hand. And it comes in 3 different colors, charcole, black, and white, so you have some selection in that area also.

My only cons are that some of the applications...

This is a really great phone that does everything I often find myself reaching for my G-1 versus my laptop...One of the best things about this phone is that all the applications are free unlike the Iphone....The only downside to this phone is that the battery life is awful the newer version of this phone which was just realeased Aug 9.09 is suppose to be better though..
