I don't use the "Fave 5" or whatever T-Mobile's happy calling plan is, but I bought a compatible bluetooth earpiece and it works great.
The things I like the best about my Dash are:
- Voice-command for programs and dialing
- I can just tell it "Play Metallica" and it will!
- Ability to use Micro-SD memory
- I got a 2GB card for like $20...
My only complaint is the battery life. I have to be careful about leaving programs running or my bluetooth on because it drains the battery quite easily. If you are conscious... read full review »
T Mobile Dash is a good phone as is, but gets better with all that applications you can load. Not impressed with the media player, couldn't get ANY files to play. So installed TCPMP and that problem is solved. Great playback and sound. There are a few games installed one being extremly addictive - Bubble Breaker. But you always need variety so I suggest PocketNesterPlus, very good Nintendo emulator.
Now that I've added some items and figured out the video situation, I would recommend this phone to anyone.
I owned a Dash for about six months, loved the smart phone; hated T-Mobile though! After five years with T-Mobile I dumped them for over billing issues. I have since moved onto Verizon and love them!
I traveled the Globe with my Dash and never an issue, if you can put up with T-Mobile then the Dash is the way to go!
