The Dash is great if you want internet access on your phone with a screen that's larger than the average phone. Those that are dependet on their e-mails would probably prefer a Blackberry or a Sidekick. The Dash is good for me, as I can download music on it and also use it much as i would a flsh-deive to store files, etc.
My only complaints are these:
(1) The touch-pad control for volume is extremely sensitive - if your hads are at all sweaty or wet they will not respond.
(2) The phone also seems to be EXTREMELY sensitive to moisture. My original Dash had to be sent in for servicing, as the screen started going haywire around mid-August. i was told that if nothing was physically brokn and no water damage was detected, i'd receive a replacement at not extra cost. When I received a bill with a $100 replacement charged, I called to have what i thoguth was an error cleared up. I was told that there was indeed water damage to the phone. I assured them that I most certainly had not gotten the phone wet, but they told me that 'water damage' could result from having the phone out on a hot day, having it in the bathroom when the shower is on, or having it in a hot, crowded handbag in a case for too long. So if you're like me and not always very careful about your phone, this sensitive piece of equipment might require more TLC than you're used to giving your average cell phone.
