T.J. Maxx - Chicago, IL Review

I have only visited the T.J. Maxx in Tinley Park, but it is a wonderful store.  I was very surprised by the amount of departments and the variety of items in such a small space.  Although the store is a little messy, it surprisingly did not feel too cluttered.  It is organized very well.

My initial trip to T.J. Maxx was for clothing for myself but I ended up also finding toys for my son and some home decor items as well.  Not only does the T.J. Maxx carry brand name clothing items, but brand names in other items as well.  It was around Christmas time and I was able to find Thomas the Train toys for my son as well as some home decor items to give as a gift to a family member.

Since most of the items in the store are brand name, they are still fairly expensive.  If I went to another discount store, I might expect to purchase a similar item at a lesser price, but it would be a "knockoff".  Because you are buying the actual brand but at a lesser price, you can assume the quality of the brand is there.
