I guess I have a different idea of what quesadillas should look and taste like even if they are rolled. I'd really call the T.G.I. Steak Quesadilla Rolls taquitos. Of course, that term may not be as familiar.
The quesadilla rolls are basically flour tortillas rolled up tight with cheese and beef. The cheese is mild and somewhat thick, so easy to eat and not drippy. The steak is a low end cut but fairly tender for a fast frozen food item.
These are quick and easy to cook. They do not brown so well though. They look kind of anemic and spotty when done. The taste is better than the appearance.
I'm kind of on the fence on the call.
They are OK and actually better than many similar products like the mini pizza rolls. You can actually tell you have some meat in these quesadillas.
On the other hand, you can make your own Mexi quesadillas or wraps as fast with fresh ingredients.
I'll just go with average, because although the T.G.I. quesadillas rolls were decent, I've not had the urge to buy any more. The boys haven't mentioned getting more either, so they weren't terrific and do make the "keeper" list.
If you do a lot of quick meals (I don't - I usually cook from scratch), then you may want to try these out. Again, they're fine for heat and eat snacks. Just kind of expensive and really don't save time over getting some tortillas and making your own custom quesadillas which are much better.
