T.G.I. Friday's Cajun Shrimp & Chicken Pasta Review

Let me preface this review by stating that I am not a big "chain" restaurant person.  The food is quite often not very authentic or high-quality.  However, I have a T.G.I. Friday's down the street from my house and it is very convenient when you are dining out with people who all want something different.  While there recently, I stumbled across the wonderful dish - T.G.I. Friday's Cajun Shrimp & Chicken Pasta, and it is amazing!

I really love Italian food, pasta in particular.  If I can have that pasta with seafood and a spicy sauce, I am in heaven.  T.G.I. Friday's Cajun Shrimp & Chicken Pasta is all that and more.     

T.G.I. Friday's describes this dish as: "Our creamy, Alfredo sauce bathes al dente fettuccine pasta ribbons. All topped off with juicy chicken and shrimp-sautéed with red bell peppers in our special Cajun butter-finished with Parmesan shavings."

I love this meal because the sauce is REALLY spicy.  It's creamy, spicy and loaded with flavor.  The chicken is juicy and moist and the shrimp have been perfectly cooked.  The red bell peppers are a nice addition for both color, flavor and texture.  On some occasions I have received garlic bread with my meal, but not always.

This meal is not for the faint of heart.  It is very rich from the cream sauce and very spicy.  If you can't tolerate spicy food, stay far away from this.  I love this meal and have been getting every time I go to T.G.I. Friday's.  It's definitely worth trying if you like seafood pasta.
