T.G.I. Friday's Buffalo Popcorn Chicken Review

The other day I bought a couple T.G.I. Friday's frozen appetizers at Target because they were on sale for only $2.79.  The Buffalo Mozzarella Sticks were so good, I couldn't wait to try the T.G.I. Friday's Buffalo Popcorn Chicken.

The T.G.I. Friday's Buffalo Popcorn Chicken box says "White meat chicken fritters coated in a spicy sauce".  The 10 ounce box didn't seem to be big enough when you put all the popcorn chicken on the baking sheet.  There seemed to be about 10 small popcorn chicken pieces in the box.  Also included is a packet of Buffalo sauce.

My husband was too eager to take them out of the oven, so he took them out 2-3 minutes before the recommended cooking time.  They didn't get the chance to crisp as much as I would have liked, but they still tasted great.

The outer coating of the popcorn chicken is crispy and spicy.  The chicken inside is moist and tender.  The popcorn chicken is slightly spicy by itself even before dipping it in the Buffalo sauce.  When you do dip it in the Buffalo sauce, you realize that this is the best popcorn chicken ever.  The combination of the spicy, crunchy popcorn chicken and the spicy Buffalo sauce is a match made in heaven.

If you plan on using these as an appetizer for company, you might want to get several boxes.  My husband and I shared one box and it left us wanting more.

I will definitely buy these again.  Next time I serve them, I am going to have blue cheese dressing or ranch to dip them in, in addition to the Buffalo sauce.  My only complaint about these Buffalo Popcorn Chicken is that you don't get very many in the box.
