T.G.I. Friday's Buffalo Mozzarella Sticks —

While shopping at my local Target, I was perusing the frozen food section for sales. I came across T.G.I. Friday's appetizers. They were all on sale for under $3.00, so I got a couple different ones to try. The one I tried tonight is the Buffalo Mozzarella Sticks.

I love cheese, spicy food and anything with the word "Buffalo" in the title, so these were screaming my name very loudly. The front of the box says: "Mozzarella sticks coated with a zesty breading" and "Includes Buffalo sauce packet".

A 10 ounce box includes 8 mozzarella sticks and a packet of Buffalo sauce. On sale they cost $2.79.

I absolutely loved the T.G.I. Friday's Buffalo Mozzarella Sticks. They are crunchy on the outside and the cheese in the middle is gooey and stringy, just like a mozzarella stick should be. They claim to have a "zesty breading", but I barely noticed anything zesty about the breading. The Buffalo sauce that you dip the mozzarella sticks into is absolutely perfect. It is a buttery, spicy Buffalo sauce with just the right amount of tang to it.

Besides the Buffalo sauce that comes with these T.G.I. Friday's Buffalo Mozzarella Sticks, I am not so sure they are very different from regular mozzarella sticks. However, when you dip the mozzarella sticks in the Buffalo sauce, you realize that they are a match made in heaven. Once you have tried these, there is no going back to the traditional mozzarella sticks that everyone knows and loves.

If you like cheese encased in crispy breading, you will like these. If you like cheese encased in crispy breading dipped in a spicy, Buffalo sauce, you will LOVE these. I also recommend the T.G.I. Friday's Buffalo Popcorn Chicken.

Buffalo is a spicy, buttery sauce with the tang of vinegar. It might not sound very good, but it really is!

I'm used to eating mozzarella sticks with marinara sauce from Edwardo's. I've never tried them with any other kind of sauce. What IS buffalo sauce?

I was just telling Gigi earlier today that I'm not crazy about "breading" but I make exceptions and this is one of them. This sounds fantastic. You and I have got to get together some evening and eat ourselves to death!

I was under the impression the mozarella stick was made with buffalo sacue. Okay, I can handle it with ranch.

Hey, waiterperson! Yeah, girl in the bubble is back! You had me at T.G.I.Fridays mozarella sticks but did you really need the buffalo? Well, I think these would be too hot for me so instead of the mozarella sticks I would much rather have the loade tater skins. Okay, there's an idea for a good appetizer and review ;+)
