I wear contacts for certain occasions, not because I need to, but because I like to change the color of my eye. My eyes are not bad enough to need contacts/glasses all the time, but I also don't have perfect vision. For some reason, wearing non-prescription lenses actually makes me see perfectly for whatever reason. I recently bought a pair of circle lenses, which if you don't know what that is, they are colored contact lenses that mesh with the coloring of your eye to change/enhance the color. The pair I bought also makes the iris of your eye look bigger. Standard contact size is about 14mm. The pair I purchased is 15mm so needless to say they are quite a big object to have on your eye. You are only supposed to keep them in for about 6 hours, which I do when I can, but there are times where I just can't get back home in time to take them out. Also, being that I am not a daily contact lens wearer, it takes me time to get used to wearing them when I do. Needless to say, rewetting drops are exactly what I need for when I wear contacts. Rewetting drops can be pretty expensive, and for rather small sized bottles at that. I found a sale on Systane CONTACTS Lubricant Eye drops, so I decided to try them. Its a 12ml bottle. It works pretty nicely, but I find that even when wearing the circle lenses, I need to do it a few times a day. I think that is only because of the size of the contacts. The drops feel gentle in your eye, no burning and they feel moistened. Rather the return of dryness is solely the contacts or not, I am not sure, but they do what they need to so I am satisified with them.
