Amanda Bynes (Hairspray and What I Like About You) stars in this "cute movie about romance, beating the norm, and fitting in, even if in her own way," as a girl being raised by her dad. Now entering college, she befriends seven outcasts as the film becomes a "modern day Revenge of the Nerds meets modern day Snow White," or more precisely "Snow White and the Seven Dorks." Some reviewers identify more with the fairy tale bend in Sydney White, as it made them "want to go after [their] Prince Charming." Sydney White is also a "movie for the whole family," as a moral comes to light in the end, showing "it's good to stand up for yourself, even if everyone thinks you're a dork or not as good as them."

Sydney White was a very cute movie!  My daughter and I enjoyed it.  We both watch it again and again when it is on HBO, Showtime, The Movie Channel or Starz.  Very nice modern day version of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.  Nice way of showing that you don't have to follow the leader so to say.  I was not sure how great it was going to be when we first heard about it but they did do a very nice job of it.  Amanda Bynes was very good and not annoying at all in this film.  Good hearted and very sweet.

Sydney White was sucha  lovely movie it brought me back to the reason why I loved Snow white so much ! I twas not because it was the classi fairy tell. i t was not becasue good overcame evil at the end. i twas because it made me want to go after my prince Charming, My dream, My fairy tell! it made me see thatI deserve to be "the fairest of them all" and No evil can deter me from going for my dreams and loving everybody including the one that wants me to fail and be destroyed in the first place.

I watched this movie with my younger sister and my grandmother on pay per view the other night. it was a very nice story, and I really enjoyed it. it's good to stand up for yourself, even if everyone thinks you're a dork, or not as good as them. a lot of people think they're better than other people, and they'll learn that an attitude like that doesn't fly in the real world.
overall, this was a very good movie. the actors were good, and the story line was amazing.

Modern day "Revenge of the Nerds" meets modern day "Snow White"

Very cute movie.  It is similar to the 1980's movie "Revenge of the Nerds", but it's not as raunchy.  Some parts may not be appropriate for younger kids, but Amanda Bynes does an excellent job, as usual, for the teen scene.

I think this is a great movieand would recommend it to others it is one of her better movies and i am glad to see she is getting out to makle mocies again. Ione of her BETTER movies.

This is the best family movie that I have seen in a while.  Its a great movie that I think everyone will be able to relate to. It is in my opinion a must see.

I loved this movie. It was hilarious and charming. Amanda Bynes is an excellent actress. Nerds all over will rejoice.
