Sydney White Review

Amanda Bynes stars in "Sydney White" a cute movie about romance, beating the norm, and fitting in, even if in her own way.

Plot:Sydney White (Bynes) is not your typical sorority girl.  A girl raised by her dad and a bunch of construction workers, she would rather be routing the plumbing in a new house than learning "how to curl your hair 101".  Now Sydney is hoping to get into the same sorority her mom went to, Kappa Phi Nu.  Sydney finds out she doesn't want to fit in with her new sisters and gets booted when the sorority president finds out Sydney likes her old boyfriend.  Sydney ends up living with a group of misfits whom she feels totally at home with and the only non Greek house on Greek Row.  Sydney runs for student council president to beat the Greek system and live dorkily ever after.

What I thought: Amanda Bynes is hilarious in any role she plays.  Quirky as only Amanda Bynes can be.  It's a great spin off of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves.  The actors are great and the dorks are the best.  You will fall in love with the dorks and their very motherly way over Sydney.
