I'm into anything and everything that will make my life easier. Sometimes there's just too much to try to get done in a day! So I easily fell for the Swiffer Wet Jet idea. And it is convenient. You just fasten on a cloth to the bottom, push the button to release the cleaning solution and start cleaning the floor. I don't have to pull out a bucket, fill it with solution and add water, and I don't have to ring out a mop when I'm done. I just throw away the cloth. I love that aspect of it!
However, if you're looking to really get your floors clean, this just wont cut it. It's fine...

What it is: It a totaly fabulous cleaning floor cleaner!
WhyI love it:
- Because I have three different types of floor in my home. Hardwood, Ceramic Tile, and a small amount of Laminate floor. I can use the Swiffer Wet Jet on all of them!
- Two Cats and One Dog (all three shed a ton) A plain broom just doesn't cut it. Makes the fur just fly around. The Swiffer Wet Jet traps it in!
- No need for a nasty dust pan
- Quick! I'm a busy mommy of a two year old, and have another full time job outside of the home. The faster I can get my cleaning done the better!

I've had a Swiffer Wet Jet in my home for the past 3 years. I've used it to clean the linoleum in the kitchen, the linoleum in the bathroom, and the hardwood throughout the rest of the house. Since we bought our Scooba I've certainly used the Wet Jet less but I wouldn't want to go without one. When my 3-year old Wet Jet mop broke last week, I went right out and bought another one.

The Swiffer WetJet is one of the best things ever invented. It's so easy and economical to use. You just put the bottle of cleaner on the handle, put a Swiffer Cleaning Pad on, give your floor a squirt and begin. When you are finished, you just throw away the cleaning pad. There is no rinsing out anything. It is so much better than using any kind of mop ever made. The liquid cleaner leaves your floors very clean and never sticky. With regular mops it seems to put a strain on my lower back, but not with a Swiffer WetJet, it glides across the floor with ease. There's no pulling and tugging.

The Swiffer seems to push more dirt around and smear it everywhere rather than pick it up into the 'absorbent pad'. If mine wasn't so old, I'd be taking the company up on their money back guarantee. The scrubber pad doesn't scrub at all. You might as well scrub on your hands and knees! Even if you I use a small squirt of solution, the pad smears and causes streaks... read full review »

The Swiffer WetJet is incredibly easy to use. It is lightweight and works for an easy spot clean. However, it does not scrub, needs multiple cleaning pads, the refills don't last long and neither do the batteries. You can not refil the cleaning solution with your own, you have to buy theirs.
I found that for a quick clean it is ok, but since I purchased the Hoover Floor Mate I don't even bother with the WetJet. And for little spills, I just grab a sponge. The WetJet also tends to leave the floor sticky after cleaning.

The Swiffer is an absolute necessary tool when trying to run the house hold alone, while working a full time job, when my husband's military duty calls. Picks up the kids spills, and the cats messes.Would love to be able to get more of them so I can be in more than one place at a time!

I have two children, a husband, and one messy dog, and sometimes feel like I spend the entire day picking up after them. The one chore that I used to always dread was washing the floors. However, since I purchased the Swiffer WetJet, I no longer spend a dreary day mopping my floors and wishing for maid service. Well, I still wish for maid service, just not for washing my floors.
The Swiffer WetJet has replaced my old routine of getting down on my hands and knees and spending hours washing my floors. I can quickly have my floors washed and they feel just as clean as my old cleaning...

The Swiffer Wet Jet is a really great thing to own. It makes cleaning the floor much easier and when it comes to cleaning the easier the better. I know alot of people that have purchased the Swiffer Wet Jet and hopefully they like theirs as much as I do.
