great item, but BAD for pets.....

a person who likes things clean, all about 'easy', a pet owner, dislike house cleaning
Pros

    easy to use, refills are easy to find, great for spot cleaning, good for quick touch up cleaning

Cons
    refills can get expensive, bad for pets, cleaning pads snag easily, creates lots of garbage, won't remove stubborn stains

I loved my wet jet when i had it, but after seeing reports on the news of dogs that had died due to this product, i got rid of it and switched to a mop. While I don't know one way or the other if the allegations are true that the chemicals in this product can be deadly to pets, I didn't want to take the chance. I read the side of the box, and it does indeed state that the product should not be used around pets or small children. Supposedly, the dogs or cats walk on the floor, the chemicals get on their paws, and if the pet licks their paws, they ingest this.

Like I said, it may not be true, but I LOVE my dog, and see no reason to test it out!
