Bottom-Line: Others may have different results, but for the Martin Household the Swiffer Carpet-Flick, failed to make the grade.      Before this little orange contraption landed on my doorstep, courtesy of the UPS, I have never heard of the Swiffer Carpet-Flick. The Swiffer Swiffer Carpet-Flick is a great tool for any room of the house with laminated or tiled floors because it makes cleaning so easy and fast.  The pads are like magnets that grab any small crumbs.  I use this all the time for sweeping in the kitchen, it is great for cereal crumbs.  It makes cleaning up really easy and picks up even the smallest pieces that a vacuum would miss.  It is small, lightweight and very durable to make cleaning easy and quick.  —… read full review »

This is a great little item, on TV. It looks like it would be great for a mother of a toddler and preschooler who is constantly picking up little pieces of food. I bought this thinking that it would save me from having to get out my heavy vacuum on a regular basis. I used the Swiffer Carpet Flick at a friend's house and have to say I am not impressed.  This thing was like a giant lint roller, or a giant roll of masking tape.  It could be handy if you had a small area of pet hair to clean up - and needed the roller to be on a long handle.  But for practical purposes like cleaning up small bits of food or dirt or something I think using my Dustbuster is easier. — The pad wasn't very sticky and seemed to need to be replaced often. — I don't think this product is very practical.  I know I won't be investing in one and can't… read full review »

I was asked to product test the Swiffer Carpetflick in my home when they first came on the market. I loved how easy it was to put together and how easy it was to use. Having a family of six children, tow cats, and a dog there are always little messes that need to be cleaned up. — The CarpetFlick did a good job of picking up hair and little pieces of debris off of the rug. I did complain that the size of the head could be bigger since it did not take very long for the cleaning cartridges to be full. The Swiffer carpet flick is good for picking up medium size debris, which with two children I have.  Anything to large wont go under it and anything fine just settles into the carpet.  I bought the starter over a year ago and then had trouble finding replacement pads at my local department store.  I finally found some just last week.  I like that my daughter can do it at 7years old and actually thinks its fun. She will get it out whenever she drops chips or crackers on the floor and flick them up which is a great help to a busy mom that just cleaned the… read full review »

carpet flick does a great job picking up teeny quilting trimmings, cat hair, paper craft scraps etc. I am a grandma and a cat owner and quilter.  I use Carpet Flick daily. When I am with my grands, they fight over who gets to help pick up with Carpet Flick.  When I first got it, my grandson, Dakota, who was seven at the time kept looking for the switch to turn it on !!  Was fun to watch and help them use "elbow grease" to help straighten up after big crafting sessions with paper, glue, glitter, old buttons etc.  Sure ist not a vacuum but it does s great job on the things I… read full review »

I had previously bought swiffer wet jet, swiffer duster, and the swiffer sweeper, and I like all of these products to some degree (wet jet is great, but the cleaning solution is too expensive for regular use).  Based on this, and being the property of a golden retriever who seems to shed more fur than I would have ever thought possible from one dog, I thought that carpet flick might be provide a solution to keeping fur under control on carpets like the sweeper does on floors.  Did not even come close....  Waste of money in my opinion and certainly not a swiffer worthy… read full review »

I bought this thinking that it would allow me to clean the carpet at the end of the day while the kids are sleeping.  You know, without the vacuum noise.  But, it didn't do nearly as good a job as I thought it should, and the inserts didn't hold on to the "stuff" or cover my entire floor.  I think I could have done a better job with duct tape on a stick. — — It was sad, mostly because I love swiffer's other products.  This one slipped through the cracks. —… read full review »

The Carpet Flick is a waste of money. It hardly picks anything up and then you have to keep buying refills. Whoever did the research on this product missed the boat big time! It is so much easier to lug out the big vacuum, so that I know the dirt has been pick up. In the long run an expensive vacuum is much more cost effective and works better at picking up dirt.
