Swiffer Sweeper® Review

A woman was demonstrating the Swiffer Sweeper in the store one day, and I was so impressed with it's performance I had to buy one right then.  I couldn't believe the way it manuevered around chairs and tables!  And when the demonstration was over, and she showed us the amount of hair she picked up, I knew it was something I HAD to have.

This was several years ago, and I have been faithfully using my Swiffer Sweeper ever since.  The long handle allows you to reach far back behind furniture without having to break your back to do it.  And it really does keep hold of hair and dust, which is great because who wants that stuff flying around loose?  It makes a huge difference in my home.

The Swiffer Cloths you sweep with are disposable after use, so each time you sweep you're starting off with a fresh cloth.  Unlike brooms, which collect dirt & dust and then just spread it back around when you use them.  The Swiffer Sweeper cloths aren't that expensive, and you can find coupons for them online often, so they're not an inconvenience or a burden to have to buy.

Now they even have scented Swiffer Cloths and they make everything smell great.  I get the Orange scent.  It does NOT leave a greasy or waxy residue.  In fact, it doesn't leave any kind of residue at all.  It just gets things clean and leaves a nice scent behind.

My only complaint with the Swiffer Sweeper is that the cloths don't always stay on.  Sometimes they'll come off the corners you push them into.  When that happens, it usually lossens up the dirt on the cloth and I have to reattach it and sweep it again.  But aside from that, they're a great help around the house.
