Swiffer Sweep n Vac Vacuum Reviews

At first when I purchased this I thought it was great!  Unfortunately my impression was quickly changed.  The most this vacuum would pick up was one room.  Every time I went to a different room I would have to empty the collection cup which is somewhat irritating if you are about to have company come over or something like and you are trying to get done in a hurry.  After having the Swiffer Sweep n Vac for a few weeks I started to notice that the battery life was diminishing.  If eventually got to the point that I was not able to complete a room before the battery died.  The main reason I...

I've had my Swiffer Sweep and Vac for 4 years and the battery hasn't worn out, as some of the other reviewers said. I also don't have to empty it very often, and if your floors aren't extremely dirty you really shouldn't have to. However, the battery charge doesn't last very long, and then, of course, there is the fact that you have to buy the refill pads. That is where the expense comes in. I wait until they are on sale and I have a coupon, but you have to change the pad every other time you vacuum because so much dust and hair sticks to it. I liked the sweep and vac.  The battery isn't the greatest and I hate that I have to buy a whole Swiffer just to get another battery.  That said, it does a great job on hardwood and vinyl and is wonderful at picking up dog hair and crumbs!  Love it!  I've had mine for about 6 years and it's still working.
