I like the Swiffer products and had tried the regular scent of this product. This works exactly the same, which is really well, but it has an even better scent. Your wood is left looking new, it removes dirt, and it also leaves a protecting coat on wood which prevents other dust from settling, saving you time in the long run.

I love the scent of the lavendar vanilla and I do love that the scent lingers on the wood for days after using it. However, my love ends there, as it doesnt really make my wood surfaces shiny. It doesnt seem to condition the wood at all, it almost seems watery when rubbing it on, it beads on top of the wood instead of working in and treating the wood. It leaves a film on the surface of the wood if I dont buff it out with a dry cloth. It wont remove spill stains or some finger prints, the spray just seems to bead around it and no matter how hard I wipe or even buff afterwards, the marks are still there. This spray also does not guard against dust like other dust products. I love the febreze-style bottle, as it is easy to hold and spray-and the nozzle sprays very clean and easy.  The spray goes on easy and evenly. It also seems to last a long time, I've had the same bottle for over a year and use it regluarly.

Dusting has never been more enjoyable! If you are like me you can get tired of that old lemony smelling dust polish. With this new product from Swiffer, I find myself dusting just for fun, believe it or not! The smell is beautiful, not overwhelming and lingers throughout the day. You will never go back to the old lemon stuff after you use this product....I guarantee it!

I first purchased the Procter & Gamble Swiffer Dust & Shine Lavendar Vanilla Scent because of the scent. I love the smell of vanilla and lavendar. I was afraid that the scent was going to be a litle bit too overpowering for my husband because alot of cleaning product smells bother him, but I got no complaints from him. I loved how the scent did linger, it made the house smell clean longer. It found it very easy to use with a nice even spray and no clogging. The furniture had a very nice shine to it after using the spray without any waxy buildup. We have an indoor short haired cat, but still have a problem with cat hairs lingering at times. After using the spray, it was easy to just take a dry cloth and wipe away any additional dust or cat hairs without having to repsray the furniture. I have read some reviews where some people didn't like the lingering scent but that is one thing that I do prefer especially when it is a scent that is as pleasant as the lavendar & vanilla. It does cost a little bit more than Pledge, but I think it seems to last longer because I have found that I don't have to use as much when I'm dusting.

I purchased Swiffer Dust & Shine because it claimed to be a No Wax formula that would remove 90% more allergens than other cleaners. First off the scent is so over powering it stays in the room for days. I found that it was so strong that it set off my asthma every time I tried to use it. It also caused my allergies to act up even on medication. With the scent being so strong I could not use it on my furniture as offen as I needed to. With a toddler in the house and lots of finger prints that became a problem really quickly. As for the No wax formula part, it dose not do a very good job. When you spray it on a wooden table it kind of comes out like droplets all over the table instead of a light covering over the area that you sprayed. When you wipe it off it dose not leave a shine to the table or even look like it has conditioned the wood in any way. And with the way it comes out of the can it makes it really hard to even spread it with a cloth to cover the area that you were trying to clean. Not something I will buy again.

our household uses quite a few swiffer products and wanted to give the dust and shine by swiffer a try. I really like it a lot, it picks up all the dust left on the wood and keeps it really shinny. the shine stays on for a long time. I like that the formula helps keep the allergies at bay because we all suffer with allergies in my household. the lavendar vanilla scent smell really good and stays on a long time too. there is no yucky buildup when sprayed on which is great and it sprays really evenly. i really do not like the areosol spray can that it comes in but I like the formula and the price was fair and  really worth it. the quality is really great, and I love the products by swiffer and would recommend this product to anyone that needs it. a can lasts a super long time because the shine stays on so long that you do not have to use it as often. coupons are always available and the price is very affordable

Swiffer Dust & Shine is my new favorite product to dust with! I can use it on my livingroom tables which are both wood and marble without having to get out a second product! I can clean the wooden part of the table and shine up the marble all at once then I can move over to my sofa table that has metal legs and clean them as well. I would have to say that being so many different surfaces is really what sold me on this product but there are several other great things about it as well. It doesn't feel waxy so you don't have to worry about a film or build up getting on your furniture. It has a nice even spray so you don't get big globs of it coming out all over the place. I love, love the smell! It has a beautiful Vanilla, Lavendar scent that is just perfect. It's not too strong or too light of a scent and it lingers in your home for quite sometime after you clean with it. I love walking in the front door and still being able to smell it! The price isn't so bad either. I would **definitely **recommend this product to anyone. I have no complaints about it!

My husband and I bought our first house a little over a year ago and purchased all new wood furniture to decorate our home.  We have all wood laminate floors with only ONE area rug in the whole house, so the dust and dirt has NO WHERE to hide in our house!  I am sweeping up dust bunnies and wiping dust off our wood furniture.  Because I have to clean the tables and such so often, I tired just a regular dry cloth, a dry paper towel, and even some other dry dusting products.  When none of those worked very well I began trying some dusting solutions, sprays, oils, etc and could not find what I really liked.  THEN I tried Swiffer Dust and Shine and I was sold.  Not only does it spray evenly but has no icky residue, smells great and works on LOTS of surfaces.  I use it on our wood tables, fan blades, and even my husband's leather chair in his office.  Probably one of my favorite parts of using it though is that a little goes a long way.

Swiffer Dust & Shine Furniture Spray (Lavender Vanilla Scent)  is touted as an Allergen Reducer that removes up to 5x more Allergens from cats, dogs and dust mites vs. dry cloths, from your furniture.  I normally use a dry cloth with a wax  spray to wipe down my furniture.  I also have several cats, that in spite of regular grooming, spread their hair over every nook and crannie in the house. So, our house is kind of a "sneezy" sort of place in spite of Hepa filters, Ceramic Tile flooring, and various other allergen reducing remedies.   When I vacuum or dust, those pesky cat hairs fly everywhere.  When the sunlight drifts through the window panes, one sees, in suspension, hairs just waiting to settle.  When I noticed the  Swiffer Dust & Shine Furniture Spray, that "Removes up to 90% more Allergens" label, it caught my eye immediately. I also liked the pleasant Lavender Vanilla Scent.  I wasn't sure how Swiffer Dust & Shine Furniture Spray was going to  help with allergens exactly, but, it was worth a try.  The status quo was a hairy, dusty set of furniture that needing dusting just about every day.  The hair and dust collected on my furniture within hours.    Sometimes after vacuuming, I would notice how the dust and animal hair seemed to migrate onto my wood furniture and just stick there. My furniture sprays were wax-based, so that may have been the reason for the hair attraction. Even with the A.C. on, I would often see these hairs in the air, waiting to  settle directly on the furniture, when the A.C. stopped. Enter this inexpensive no-wax furniture spray by Swiffer. I needed something that would not just clean the furniture, but, actively prevent that hair from sticking onto the furniture and by default, reduce the allergens within the house. How does it do that?  I don't know.  I'm a results -driven person and I can say this about it:  It removed hair (in my case) cat hair, more effectively than Pledge.  And, the hair and dander  didn't seem to stick on the furniture as much because there is no wax in this Swiffer Furniture Spray. You just shake the can well, hold it upright, and spray onto a soft, clean cloth or directly onto the surface in a sweeping motion. You then wipe evenly to dry. Swiffer Dust & Shine Furniture Spray in Lavender Vanilla Scent is an overwhelmingly Vanilla fragrance.  I smelled not a whiff of Lavender. The residual smell though, was light and no-cloying. This Spray comes out in an even stream and the contents are under pressure. It promises to:  Remove up to 5x more allergens from cats, dogs, and dust mites vs. dry cloths. It brings out the natural luster of wood furniture. It also works great on wood laminate, marble, leather, and granite. INGREDIENTS:   Shine Enhancers, Water, Fragrance, Quality Control Ingredients, and non-flammable natural propellants. MY OPINION:  I bought it for the promise of removing 90% more allergens from cats, dogs, dust mites, and dander when I dusted.  I have no way of knowing or proving that percentage of removal, which it claims.  I can only say that it did remove the cat hair well, kept it from adhering to the surface area, and left a non-sticky finish.  It also left the furniture clean, smudge-proof, shiny, and lustrous and brought out the natural wood grain finish as well.  Did this in any way improve the allergy situation in our house?  I'd like to think that it contributed to the overall strategies that I currently use to help with the allergy situation.  I don't know if this furniture spray is a significant contribution, but, it helps in its own way to reduce the hair and dander settling on the furniture.  The furniture looked lustrous, and any hair that settled on it, was quickly removed with a swipe of a cloth.  An added bonus was that Swiffer Furniture Spray works beautifully on granite and marble. Your granite or marble countertops will look dazzling when you use this spray.  Overall, a Four Star  product with good results
