Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street — 

This film was very good...but there was a lot of singing, especially from Johnny Depp. He's still a great actor. The film was excellently cast, and although it is a little gory for some, overall its a great film.

I think originally Sweeney Todd was a Broadway musical with Angela Lansbury as Sweeney's accomplice. So how was Johnny Depp's singing? It was pretty good in "Crybaby". Have you seen that? If not you can rent the dvd. I don't like gory thins but I have been curious about this version because Johnny Depp is in it. What do you think made it a "great film" ?
