Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street —
I wanted to like this movie but it was pretty dreadful. Johnny Depp's voice is horrible but I expected that. What I did not expect was all the ridiculous violence. I don't need to see all that throat slashing and blood spewing, I have an imagination. Then seeing Helena burn to death in the furnace was a bit over the top too. I know they did do those treatments in the broadway show. Tim Burton movies generally suck but I was willing to give it a chance and hope for the best. Bad choice.
