Too many steps, low quality material

2

I am not a big fan of these diapers. I tried a few, because I was looking for a trim fitted option. These are very trim, and very narrow through the crotch. That part is great, since more fitteds are quite bulky. I did not like these, though, because there are just simply too many steps involved. I love pocket diapers, but to have to stuff a fitted just seems like way too much work. The velour that these are made of is not of a high quality, either, and feels rough very quickly and fades after just a couple of washes. I did like the snap configuration, and felt that there were a good fit on my child and very trim if I stuffed them carefully. Because they are so very narrow through the crotch, I had a hard time getting my inserts to lay flat inside the diaper, because I have rather large hands. These are okay if you can pick them up cheap used or at a seconds sale, for those times that you need to have a very trim fitted on hand, but overall, I do not recommend these. Its easier to learn how to pin a prefolds (pinning is the trimmest way to go) and save your time and money on these diaper.

super soft

I have been a fan of Swaddlebees since they first started production. Their fabrics are lovely and soft, and the cut of their diapers fits perfect on the shape of my babies. My little ones tend to be quite chubby, and it is hard to find a diaper that doesn't cut in to their thighs or dig in to their belly. The cut of swaddlebees is perfect. As far as the Swaddlebess Organic Velour Fitted Pocket Diaper, we love it. What we like: Super soft, absorbant, nice fit, VERY trim, gentle on chunky legs and belly, cute colors, organic, great quality (we have never had any trouble with the quality of the Swaddlebees organic velour pocket fitted diaper) What we don't like: they tend to run small (especially in the rise, our 25lb 9 month old gets plumbers crack when he wears this sometimes) they are expensive, especially since you still need an insert to stuff it with. The area to stuff an insert in is small, so you are limited to how much you can stuff this diaper.

Excellent Trim stufable Fitted

The Swaddlebees Organic velour fitted pocket diaper is an exceptional cloth diaper. First off the term fitted in cloth refers to a diaper that needs a cover or a parent who changes their baby frequently is attentive to the baby being wet and changes immediately they will not need a cover. Fitted does not refer to the type of fit so the diaper will leak if you do not change your baby right away r have them in a cloth diaper cover. I just put fleece or wool longies (pants) on my baby over the swaddlebees organic velour fitted pocket diaper. I love the fit of these swaddlebees they are trim I can still put a pul cover on my baby and jeans over without having to size up in pants. I love that these swaddlebees are pockets so I can stuff them more for night time and naps. I love that these swaddlebees are organic and such soft velour wash after wash. The fit is still great with the mediums fitting my 22 month old who is 26 pounds on the middle snap setting. Side snapping is perfect because it allows for more adjustments to the fit in the leg and waist.

Love SB Organic velour fitteds

The Swaddlebees Organic Velour Fitted diaper are great, simple, easy to use fitted diapers. They snap at the side making the fit nice and trim, the snaps are also easy to snap and unsnap making diaper changes easier. The fabric is soft and I love that it is organic. Velour is one of my favorite diaper fabrics though it does tend to lose it's softness after a while, faster if you line dry your diapers. I love the periwinkle color though the dye does tend to fade but any piece of clothing would fade if you washed it on hot a couple times a week. The diaper itself is a good absorbency for how trim it is, even under a cover, which the diaper does require as it is a 'fitted' diaper so not waterproof. My favorite cover for the diaper are Thirsties covers and wool. Besides the dye fading the only other downside to these diapers is that they do tend to run a bit small, especially in the rise so if you have a taller baby they may outgrow it a bit sooner than other small diapers.

Excellent fitted diaper

I love the Swaddlebees Organic Velour Fitted Diapers. They are just the right size. The fit is excellent. These diapers are very trim fitting and true to size. We started out the newborn stage with these and had no issues with the fit. You do need to use a cover with these swaddlebees diapers as they are not waterproof. I love the many different colors that there are to choose from. You can go with either gender neutral or stick with just boys colors or just girls colors. Swaddlebees Organic Fitted diapers are very soft. These are perfect for babies with sensitive skin. They stay nice and soft for your baby's bum. Depending on how heavy of a wetter your baby is you may need to use an insert in these. The inserts help with the absorbency. That is what the handy little pocket is for; you put the insert in there. The insert stays nice and put and doesn't bunch up. The Swaddlebees Diapers are very well made and will last for quite awhile.

The only reason I didn't give the Swaddlebees Organic Velour Fitted Pocket Diaper five stars is I'm not a fan of pocket diapers :( The Organic Velour is great next to babies skin, nice and soft. Its really good for my kids with sensitive skin or kids that cant do suede cloth or fleece. The fit was Great for my daughter, These wash easy. Very trim! Love the snaps, They are very adjustable. My daughter was in the middle of a size small when I got her a medium swaddlebees it fit her on the smallest setting & it overlaps with the large so she was able to fit in it longer then most of her mediums. I don't like stuffing pocket diapers at all but the plus side is you can customize the absorbance for heavy wetter's, night time or what ever you need.  the down side with the swaddlebees small pocket diaper is it was hard for my husband to stuff they because the size of the diaper and his hand. I was also able to adjust these a little different and pull them up and down like training pants for when my was learning to use the potty.

Trim, comfy, and breathable

These are fitted diapers - they aren't supposed to be waterproof, so they will leak if a cover isn't used with them.  I think having 'pocket' in the title makes these confusing - most pocket diapers are waterproof, but in this case, what you have is a non-waterproof diaper that you put an absorbent insert in.  Like if Goodmamas had the soaker inside the layers, rather than snapped in. Anyway, I really, really like this diaper.  It looks TINY, like you should have ordered a size up, but it's got well-fitted elastic, and expands a lot, while being very trim fitting.  You'd need to use something absorbent in these - I use a Huggabuns hemp/cotton insert, and the cover of your choice.  You can also go without a cover at home so your baby's bottom gets some air, which is great for healing diaper rash.  I have periwinkle and yellow diapers, which somehow bleached out to lavendar and cream, but they still work just fine.  The pocket design means the insert doesn't bunch, too.  The diapers are very soft, and haven't gotten rough like bamboo can.

To start with the positive, swaddlebees diapers are cute, they are trim fitting and are not overly expensive in the cloth diaper category. They are also easily available (even used on Craigslist and cloth diaper forums if you want to go that route) and I appreciate that they offer organic options in the fabric choices. In my experience Swaddlebees are shipped fairly quickly as well. On the negative side, they are not well made and they leak something awful. Now, most all diapers (cloth or otherwise) will leak if required to hold too much liquid, but swaddlebees leaked very quickly and easily. I believe this happens because they wick (which means that the urine gets pulled from the inside to the outside of the diaper, usually by threads), and also in part because of their trimness. I think super trim cloth diapers tend to leak more, though I have used brands that do much, much better than these even though they are trim (Daisy Doodles, for example). Overall, I think your money is better spent on a better cloth diaper than these!
