Surefire G2 Nitrolon flashlight —

"The Article"

The Surefire G2 Nitrolon, lithium powered flashlight is a compact general utility and tactical light. The G2 is made of a lightweight and very durable composite material called Nitrolon that comes in black, yellow or OD green in this model. This item also features a ‘flawless light beam' free of any dark spots. Though it is certainly not Surefire's most powerful flashlight, the G2 is brighter then most flashlights twice it's size and more then adequate in most situations. In fact it should not be carelessly shined in peoples eyes as it will momentarily blind and disorient them, which in the hands of professionals is sometimes how it is employed. But in the hands of us nonprofessionals it is best used to momentarily light up a large room during a power outage, flag someone down for help, look for lost pets at night, illuminate cave features while spelunking, or as an emergency light kept in the car or home survival kit.

"The Prose"

Surefire offers an "If it breaks, we fix it" guarantee, The G2 is water resistant, has a super Xenon lamp, push button switch, extraordinarily lightweight body (Only 4 ounces), and gives off 65 lumens (Can be upgraded to 120 lumen lamp) from a flashlight under 5 inches long!

"The Rub"

Due to the extraordinary light output and subsequent heat, the light should never be left on while face down on a flat surface or under combustible material. The batteries and lamp assemblies are not included in their guarantee, but can be purchased relatively inexpensively. Also, this flashlight is quite a bit more expensive then regular lights. If you are looking for a $20.00 flashlight to be used during the occasional plumbing problem or blown fuse this is not it. This is a powerful, good quality light. And if you want quality you have to pay for it, so in comparison it is expensive.

"The End"

I love this light and have used it on more occasions then I can count, the longer you own it the more reasons you'll find to use it. It's compact, lightweight, powerful and very durable. I highly recommend it!
