It is hell in a hand basket, but at least we get to see it in style. One of my favorite shows, Supernatural provides the perfect balance of action, adventure, family conflict, sci-fi, drama, and comedy to make the entire show a success. Leaving you breathless from suspence one moment to rolling on the floor laughing the next, the show never fails to hit the right notes. Primarily based off two brothers, Dean and Sam Winchester, Supernatural delves into the realm of the supernatural. That's right: ghosts, demons, angels, the works. They are all real, and they are all here on a mission. Both Dean and Sam hunt these beings, preventing them from causing more harm in a community or saving (trying to save) the world from the apocalypse. During the first season, the boys focused more on finding their father. Season two and three focused on saving Sam from the prophesy about him. Four: stopping the apocalypse, and five: dealing with the apocalypse now that is has been unleashed upon the world. The show is very well written and well acted. While my friend and I have frequent arguments about which of the characters is better looking, their acting skills very solid and credible.
