Super Text Twist —

Super Text Twist is a variation on the classic game where you are given a set of letters and have to unscramble them to make words.  The game has two versions: timed and untimed.  In either version, the game is divided into rounds.  In each round, you are given either 6 or 7 letters (you can adjust the number of letters in the game options).  You have to try to make as many words as you can using the letters.  The game does show you how many words can be made with the available letters (see photos).  The words start at 3 letters, and then there will be 1-3 words per round which use all of the letters.  In order to advance to the next round, you must get at least 1 word that uses all of the available letters.  You can rescramble the letters at any time using the "twist" button or the space bar on your keyboard.  In the timed version of the game, you are given 2:30 per round.  In the untimed version, there's, you guessed it, no clock.  I prefer to play the timed version of the game.  You score points for each word you get, and the game does maintain a high score list.

Super Text Twist is available in a number of places online.  Simply Google "Super Text Twist", and you'll easily find the game.  You can play the game for free online, but that's a limited version.  To get the full version of the game, you have to pay for it (~$20).

I recommend you give Super Text Twist a try.  It's a fun way to test your vocabulary and maybe even add to it.

Tip- During the game, you can type in words using your keyboard and enter them using the "enter" key.  It's a lot faster than using your mouse.
