This is one of 3 products from this brand with same results. Held for less than an hour. Its supposed to have 12 hour hold and seal out food. My gums are cut up because of the food that got under my denture. And my teeth fell out in the middle of dinner!

I have had an upper denture plate since 2002. I hated it (still do!) and had a terrible time trying to find something to keep the dentures in place that didn't also taste nasty. I buy the super "free". There are no artificial flavors or colors in it and it is zinc free. There are instructions on the back of the tube on where to appy the cream. Through trial and error I have developed my own system which works great. I apply a couple of dabs and then I take a cotton swab and spread it around so the entire inside of the flat part of the denture is covered. Within minutes you can eat anything you want for the rest of the day or evening without any problems. With all the denture creams and powders out there this is the only one I have found that always works until you remove the dentures. I drink a lot of liquids during the course of the day. Diet cola and ice tea mostly. Some denture creams lose their adhesive ability if you consume too many beverages. Not so with the Super Poligrip. Anything other then "free" even in the Poligrip will have a taste to it. I didn't care for any of the flavors, that is why I only will recommend the "free". There was a problem with a lot of the adhesives a few years ago with the zinc in some of them. I think all the adhesives are now zinc free but if not you do want one that doesn't contain any.
