Super Pet Yellow Nape Amazon Parrot —

I lost my Bird several months ago... My family tried a couple of times to get me another, but I just was not ready. I finally can not stand the QUIET anymore.. I have been looking at the Greys. I really like what I see and read about them. Does anyone have or have had  a grey and another large ie... a amazon, macaw, ... How do they compare??? A friend is really pushing me toward a conure, but I think hers has ruined them for me. IT IS A TERROR!!! I am so confused.. I wish  the ones I am looking at were all in one place, so I could compare and finds the right match for my family... We are rehoming one, so I am looking at adoption places and owners that have to rehome.ANY ADVICE?

Hi there. I am sorry for the loss of your bird and hope the following information helps you:) I bought my African Grey from a friend of mine 11 years ago this past December, before her I believe she had one owner. I love my Grey, I believe they are quieter than a conure would be, however, it is up to you individual taste. She is quite the talker and can definitely be loud when she wants to. Unfortunately, she has taken to men over women, so it's very difficult after being bitten by her numerous times to try and hold her, but when she does let me, it's great. My husband can hold her upset down, she grooms him, all the good stuff that makes me quite jealous because I cannot get that close to her. She says hello, good bye, sierra (her name) and sentences that I can't quite figure out yet, when our dog runs to the front door barking, she will do a ssshhhh sound because that is what we do :) Anyways, I love having the grey, so I personally would recommend one over the conure, just because of the intelligence level, Greys are number one in that degree and they say the Yellow Napes are second. Good luck in whatever you decide.

I have both Grey and Yellow Nape, Both are sweet. A hand fed Grey need a lot of attention they may plug own feather if did not get enough time. My 22 years old Yellow Nape was sweet to me when she was young now she want to bite me when I am in her territory.

I want to take my Yellow Nape oversea but I lost her sales receipt so I can not proof that she was legally purchased.
Can someone let me have your bird sales slip ?
