Super 8 Lincoln Highway, Lancaster PA.  I made my reservations 3 weeks in advance via the net.  Stated "Must be non smoking, pet friendly room".  My confirmation stated that.  Upon arrival I was told there were no non smoking rooms available.  I stated that I had made my reservation 3 weeks ago.  Got confirmation, and suggested they "bump" someone who reserved after I did.  That couldn't be done.  We had no choice since that part of town was sold out for the weekend.  I believe in smokers rights, but I also believe in non-smokers rights.  When you live in a smoke free environment, you notice it more.  The room smelled of smoke.  It was dirty, and had no working skoke detector.  Just bare wires where it had been.  Can I rater the hotel lower than one star?
