Remember when you were little and helping you mother or grandmother in the kitchen cook up some delicious taste treat? If it included raisins, it was probably Sunmaid. You know the one with the girl on the front with a big basket of grapes that would be turned in to a sweet natural treat. The trademark was inspired by Lorraine Collett Petersen. She lived in Fresno, California in 1917 and was discovered drying her dark curls in the backyard. Even though the package changed over the years Lorraine's picture is still Sunmaid's trademark.
