Marvel Heroes Gummies - tastes good but where are the heroes?
My children are picky eaters and don't always get the nutrition that their bodies need every day. Therefore, I've joined the ranks of parents who do their best to accomplish this by giving my children vitamins. My children have tried all sorts of vitamins and really don't have a preference but they were excited when I brought home the Marvel Heroes Gummies, which features Captain America, Spiderman, and Iron Man on the front of the box. Wow! How cool is that? Before you stop reading this review to run out and buy a box, it might be important to know that the gummies resemble anything but the superheroes pictured on the box. They are the heads of the three heroes but you can pretty much substitute any character and they will look like that one too. An alien? Yep. Frankenstein? Yep. Your fourth grade science teacher? You got it. After some sleuthing, my kids finally figured out that the red vitamin is Spiderman, the orange one is Iron Man, and the other color (still trying to figure out the actual color) is Captain America. Okay, so there might have been some deceptive advertising on the box in regards to the superheroes actually looking like the ones pictured, but it really doesn't matter to my kids as long as the vitamins taste good. With gummies being very similar to candy, it didn't take much convincing on my part to get my kids to try (and like) these. Each serving is 2 gummies which equates to 30 calories, 8g carbohydrates, 6g sugar, and 20mg of sodium. As for vitamins, each serving contains 3,000 IU of Vitamin A, 30mg Vitamin C, 800 IU Vitamin D, and 30 IU Vitamin E. My kids like the taste of the Marvel Heroes Gummies and don't mind that they don't actually look like superheroes. However, if you are buying this product because your kids want vitamins that look like the guys on the front of the box, then they may be disappointed.
