Comments about Suncast Snow Roof Rake, 21-Ft.:
First of all, the 21ft rake was a must for me, many of the roof rakes out there are 16ft and with my one and half story home it would do me no good. This rake is well constructed. The blade is sturdy plastic so it cuts and digs and you pull it but it is light enough to be able to extend it all the way out to the end of the handle. Just used it for the first time last night and it worked very well on even the heavy wet snow that had piled up on the north facing roof of my house.
Blade is 24 inches which is nice, any wider and I would imagine it would be tough to pull the snow off the roof. But still wide enough to not have to take a thousand attemps as you work your way across your roof. Four extensions gets the blade way up in the air.
Poles get a little wobbly when fully extended but can't imagine it being any different with something 20' out still being able to lift it with one person.
Poles seem solid and blade also appears to be nice thick plastic
