A good basic iron at an affordable price but not great
If you are going to iron once in a while, or just one outfit a day, this is perfect. It is after all, good, durable basic iron that does all the basic tasks competently. The iron has a temperature selection dial, a water receptacle and a steam button. It's neither so big and heavy that you have a hard time lifting it or raising it, nor so light and compact that you're grunting and groaning trying to exert enough pressure to erase stubborn wrinkles. The iron is definitely on the lighter side, but not as light as a travel iron. It's great if you have an injury or if you dislike ironing, because it makes the process less cumbersome. However, it really isn't good for ironing something like a coat, or a thick suit. Even with the steam feature, the wrinkles remain because the iron simply isn't heavy enough to stamp them out. The steam is very useful, but there is no way to clean the inside of the steam compartment, so invariably, over time calcium deposits accumulate, making it yucky to contemplate and pretty bad even to look at.
