Overall, this heater does what you want a space heater to do, put out plenty of heat. Performance It won't heat a huge room, but for a normal sized bedroom, it will sure do the trick. It actually put out too much heat for my large bathroom when it was on high. Durability I had this little heater for a number of years and it worked consistently for me. Design I like that it is on a swivel base, so you can direct the heat where you need it most. It has an eco button to save money. You can adjust the temp on it as well. There is a fan button if you don't need much heat, and that works very well. Safety This heater never got hot on the outside like the radiator styles I have used, however, it did get tipped over and did not shut off. I thought it had that safety feature. I was out of the house for a while, came back in, and apparently the cat had knocked it over, face down. It didn't shut off, but it did burn itself out. The front screen on it was burned and it smelled as if something inside may have burned. I have etched concrete floors, so there was no fire, but I can't help thinking that if I'd had carpet or wood floors, it would have caused a fire which I wouldn't have known about until it was too late.

I've owned this decently small heater for almost a year now and I still love it. I have noticed that it doesn't seem AS powerful since I've had it - but it eventually gets the job done (ie. initially it took 30 minutes for the entire room to feel warmer, now it takes maybe 45 minutes). I recommend this heater for smaller/medium sized rooms - I don't know how it would handle being in a large room. It has great features, such as a timer, and eco-friendly setting, and a max heat setting for those extra cold nights. My only complaint is that it doesn't rotate. I feel like this product is relatively safe - I have not had any problems with it over-heating. For its price, it's definitely a great investment!
