Sunbeam Flourecent Light Bulbs —

I purchased all flourecent light bulbs to replace my incandecent ones. I used one in my brand new kitchen range hood and 2 in my brand new bathroom light. The hood bulb blew out at only 6 months. The bathroom, blew at 7 months. Each had a 5 year warrenty. I had problems reaching the company, as the Sunbeam website was not the right place. I received a phone number to call, but I had to call only during business hours. I finally reached someone at that number and they spoke very poor english. She said they were covered under the warrenty, but I had to return the bulbs for a refund of my purchase price. It costs $4.60 to return them and get my $2.00 back! Also, these bulbs wouldn't fit in any of my overhead fixtures. Now I have no way to dipose of the bulbs, as they contain mercury. Wish I hadn't wasted my time and money on these. Now they will be floating around my garage forever.
