Sunbeam Expressbake Bread Maker Model No. 5833 —

Who doesn't love hot fresh baked bread?  My husband loves hot bread and was the one that insisted on adding a breadmaker to the household.  I have the Sunbeam Expressbake Breadmaker Model No. 5833 and have been using is for several years.  In fact, when we take the 5th Wheel Travel Trailer out for camping, my husband packs along the Sunbeam Expressbake Breadmaker Model No. 5833.  He is that attached to it!

All About the Sunbeam Expressbake Breadmaker Model No. 5833

The Sunbeam Expressbake Breadmaker Model No. 5833 bakes a 1.5 lb. loaf of bread but is capable of baking a 2 lb. loaf as well. It comes with a Teflon coated pan that lifts out of the breadmaker for easy cleaning.  The top of the machine has an extra large viewing window that allows you to take a peak at your bread while it is kneading or baking at any time.

The Sunbeam Expressbake Breadmaker Model No. 5833 comes with an easy to read instruction manual that explains all the settings, the delay feature, the timer, and a troubleshooting guide for reference when your bread doesn't turn out the way it should!  It also has a recipe section in the manual.

Baking Bread

After rinsing the pan, you will need to attach the kneading blade.  This snaps in to the bottom of the bread pan.  Add liquid ingredients to the pan followed by the other ingredients that are non-liquid.  Then you will add the yeast to the mixture.  You are now ready to put the pan into the Sunbeam Expressbake Breadmaker Model No. 5833 and close the lid.  Select your settings for time, crust selection (light, medium or dark) and press the "Start" button.

Clean Up

Cleaning the Teflon coated bread pan is a breeze.  I use a wet cloth or paper towel to wipe out the pan followed by a warm water rinse.  That is all that is needed!  The hardest part is washing the kneading blade.  It is small and you will find a crusty coating of bread stuck on it.  I usually soak it in warm sudsy water and go back to clean it.

Recommendation

This is a nice breadmaker that costs under $75.00.  I purchased mine on sale after Christmas and got it for less than half price.  We have used the Sunbeam Expressbake Breadmaker Model No. 5833 many times and it is still going strong.  It has really delivered a lot of hot bread for us and more than paid for itself over the years.  If you are looking for a good breadmaker, consider the Sunbeam Expressbake Breadmaker Model No. 5833 or other Sunbeam model.  Recommended---yes!

Yes, failures only when I used an old package of pre-mixed bread mix. We use the prepared mixes most often for convenience. Plus my hubby uses it a lot :)

Crust selection, wow! That's something I never had on my old bread maker. Looks like your loaf bakes horizontally, yes? Do you have any failures? Do you use recipes that come with maker?

Just throw in your ingredients or buy pre-packaged bread mix and let it do all the work! Yum!

So you're saying you don't have to do hardly anything by hand in order to make bread? I had no idea! Sounds great :)

i had always wanted to do this and had a breadmaker -- that I sold at a garage sale. I could never figure out how to use it!
