I have tried other pads. This electric pad is nice. My fiance keeps the house so cold at night that it feels like winter all year round. That may sound nice to those who live in the south, but it gets old after a while. Anyway, I was in the store and found this pad on sale. Well, I decided to try it out and see. At the very least if it did not work well as an electric pad, I could use it as a regular pad. No harm, no foul. Well the first time I used it, I was amazed. Imagine a heating pad for your whole body. It was nice. I don't even need to use alot of sheets on the bed anymore when I sleep. It was really nice. My fiance is happy about it also because now he does not have to hear me complaining about how cold I am all the time anymore. It was a really good investment. I am really happy about my purchase. If there are people out there like me who are having the same problems, this is the way to go.
