these blankets have a tendency to stop warming after a few years

picking up after pets, Homeowner, neat freak, a mobile phone user, very attached to my dog, Every day computer user, an animal rescurer

Pros

Love the Dual controls!, many color choices available, warm, savings on heating bills

Cons

sometimes fails after a while, pricey, doesn't work long enough for the price, Don't like the feel of the coils

Sunbeam Electric Blanket - queen size —

I have bought a few of these phones over the past several years, and all but one has failed after use. They will usually get thru 1-2 years before gradually decreasing in warmth, then may give out entirely. I have bought the twin, queen and full sizes for various rooms and the twin is the one that is still going.

Amazing that the lowest cost one is the blanket that is still working, while the pricier queen & full sizes have both ceased working. Sunbeam has not been very cooperative on the replacements, and the stores will not take back something that has been used for that length of time. Just buyer beware that they can work well when new but have been known to give out over time...
