This humidifier is great for adding moisture to the air, helping both my dry skin as well as my allergies through the summer. We usually like to run our humidifier through the night in the summer. It also cools our room a little bit, as evaporated water cools the air. Ease of Cleaning If you use tap water, it can build up mineral residue that can affect the performance. But if it is cleaned once a month or so, then it doesn't build up too much and it keeps working fine. Distilled water would make cleaning easier, but it is also more expensive. Durability We have not had a single problem with this humidifier since we started using it, so it seems like it will hold up well (but we have not used it for long, so it is harder to say for longterm use). Design Especially like that the water tank is on the side of the humidifier. It is easy to remove and fill. The fan is pointed a good direction for getting the humidified air out into he room, and it is strong enough to move a good bit of air.

I bought this humidifier because my husband and I really struggle with seasonal allergies. We live in Florida and allergy season seems to last all year long. We were having a hard time sleeping well, so I gave this product a try. It has worked amazing and really helped clear the air and help us sleep better. I feel like I am able to breath again when I have this on. I usually turn it on in the early evening on a low setting. It does not make much noise at all, and is actually very soothing. It gives off just the right amount of steam and I keep it running all night long. We have a large master bedroom and this product works great for the entire room. I clean it nightly to avoid any mold issues and it has never given us any problems. This is a very durable machine. Ease of Cleaning I was worried that this would be a pain to clean, however it is very easy to clean and maintain. Durability I run this machine everyday for at least 12 hours a day and it still runs like brand new. We have owned it for 6 months.

I really enjoy having this humidifier in our bedroom. It is whisper quiet so it does not interfere with our sleep and it is just big enough so that I do not have to keep filling the canister every couple of hours. The settings allow me to have the humidity set to just the right percentage in our bedroom and that is a blessing in disguise because we no longer get dry flaky skin or bloody noses. This humidifier is also big enough to hold enough water to last roughly twenty four hours but no so big that it can not be set on a dresser out of the way. Output Volume The volume is absolutely perfect it is a very nice thing to not have to fill it every day. Performance This humidifier does an excellent job of keeping my bed room at the perfect humidity. Ease of Cleaning The canister has a big enough opening to effectively clean it and the filter is very easy to change. Durability I have had this humidifier for a couple of years now and it still works like it was brand new. Design I love the fact that it is big enough to work properly but small enough to fit on my dresser.

Overall I was very satisfied with this humidifier, it is very good quality for a very good price, it is a brand you can trust. Sunbeam makes quality products and this is one of them. Output Volume The output volume on this product is very mimimal, it does however put off the sound of a fan. Performance The performance of this product is great! It helps relieve allergies and sinus problems. It also aids in easing the symptoms of the common cold. Ease of Cleaning This humidifier is rather easy to clean, you just take out the water basin and clean it as well as keep the filter clean and dry when not in use. You also don't want to let water sit in when not in use, this will cause water to get dirty and can cause mildew and mold inside the unit as well as on the fitler. Durability As long as it it cleans properly it is very durable and will last a long time. Design The design is very modern and not too large or too small, I was very please with it.

As a person who vividly remembers growing up enduring summertime colds with the added discomfort of a humidifier blowing ridiculously hot, humid air into the room, I was pretty thrilled to find this Sunbeam's Cool Mist Humidifier! After all, there are few things worse when you already have a miserable cold during the summer than having your room become a tortuously scorching sauna. The Sunbeam Cool Mist Humidifier works really well. It has a very large tank that lasts for many hours, so that you're not constantly having to get up and refill it. However, it is really easy to refill when it does run out. Our Sunbeam has lasted us over many uses for several years and it's still going strong. Even though it blows cool air instead of hot, we have found that the humidity is still just as helpful for congestion and coughs. I do wish that it was easier to clean, although I'm not sure how that would be possible.

We bought a Sunbeam Cool Mist Humidifier for our baby son's nursery. He was suffering from congestion and dry skin, so we hoped the humidifier would help with those conditions. We have purchased several humidifiers for our bedroom over the years and we have yet to find the perfect one. The Sunbeam humidifier is far from perfect, but it does have some good points. It does seem to humidify the air in my son's room, as the air actually feels somewhat moist when we wake the baby up in the morning, even when the heat runs all night. My baby's skin seems to not be as dry as it was before and he seems to breathe easier. The humidifier does not appear to leak, which is a problem we've experienced with other humidifiers. I think my biggest complaint is that the humidifier is very loud. It doesn't seem to interfere with my son's sleep, but then he's a sound sleeper. I'm a much lighter sleeper, so I don't think I could have this humidifier in my room. The humidifier also is not very attractive. Thre are more colorful humidifiers and ones that look like animals, but we decided to go with the Sunbeam because of the lower price. We've only had the humidifier for a few months, so time will tell how durable it is. Overall the Sunbeam was a good purchase and is serving its purpose. Output Volume Seems to make the air moister even on the low setting. We don't turn it on the high setting because it is so loud. Performance It seems to do a decent job, but it is rather loud. Ease of Cleaning We haven't really cleaned it yet, but it should be easy since it doesn't have a filter. Durability We haven't had it that long, but it hasn't leaked yet. Design It's not real attractive, but that wasn't our main consideration.

Bought this product on a whim, it recommended to me by my aunt since my asthma was getting out of control, desert climates don't do me any favors either. So far it's been great, I have noticed I haven't woken up late at night reaching for my inhaler which is great for me. We also have dogs so it can get really dusty with the pollen they bring it. It restores moisture, and honestly just works great! No complaints thus far. Also, very nifty to clean and travel with! Output Volume great! Performance very good here too, although if you're a light sleeper you can probably hear it Durability I actually dropped this twice and it still works fine, so A+ for durability! Design nice and small if you wish to travel with it!

I originally bought this humidifier for one of my children when they were sick with an upper respiratory infection. I slept in her room one night while she was sick and found that I was able to breath much easier myself. As a lifelong chronic sinus sufferer, my sleep is frequently disturbed by not being able to breath through my nose and breathing through my mouth causes me to snore. I bought a second humidifier just for my room and began to use it during the seasons when my sinuses were at their worst. One note of caution though. Cool mist humidifiers obviously work with cool water. The hot water in vaporizers prevents a lot of mold from growing in the canister. This is not true with cool mist vaporizers. So make sure you regularly clean the canister to prevent mold growth.

I bought this humidifier for our house since we have electric heat in the winter in Ohio, and the air gets really dry. I used to get headaches from all of the dry air. Anyway, we already had a vaporizer that I like to use when anyone is sick, but I wanted a humidifier to keep on during the day. I thought this one would be a little quieter than what it is, but it's not that bad. I just can't let it run at night in the kids' rooms (which is where I keep it). I'm not sure how often the filter needs changed, but I haven't had any problem with it. I like how it has settings that you can adjust, but it's not too complicated. I was really pleased with the price also.

I really like the Sunbeam cool mist humidifer. I think that it works well and has a good performance. The cool mist is perfect for my baby's nursery. The design is great and it looks sleek. Easy to fill and use. I do wish it was filterless because that can really get expensive.
