Sunbeam Classic Iron
Model 3964-33
I don't like to iron. I don't know many people who do. When my old hand-me-down iron my Mom gave me when I moved out 15 years ago died, I had to buy a new one, even if it only gets used a few times a year.
I didn't want to spend a lot of money and really didn't need a whole bunch of fancy features, just yourstandard run-of-the-mill iron.
Ifyou have read any of my other reviews you will see that I'm a frequent Target shopper. That's exactly where I went to buy my Sunbeam Classic Iron.
The Sunbeam Classic Iron is your everyday basic clothes. ou don't have to be a technological wizard to use it. You just need to turn it on.
The Sunbeam Classic iron's features:
My old 1970's iron didn't have a spray mist option, so I thought that it was pretty neat that irons have that feature. I was able to throw out my water mist bottle because of it.
I don't use my iron enough to have used the self cleaning option and I'm not really sure how it works. What I do know is that it will not rust. Sadly, my old iron was really rusty and was the reason I finally ditched it.
The auto-off function is amazing. How many times have you gotten half way down the road and thought "Did I turn the iron off?"? The Sunbeam Classic iron has auto-off feature - worry no more!
The Sunbeam Classic Iron also has a Steam Button feature that I have never used. I have no idea how to steam clothes or why I would need to but my Mom says this is a pretty cool feature to have on an iron.
Cost: $29.99 at Target
For a once-in-a-while ironer, the Sunbeam Classic Iron is perfect for me!
